Hello. My name is Polly Normand. I am a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Educator, and I have a Master's degree in Public Health.
This blog contains posts inspired by my interactions with the thousands of patients I have seen over the years and those I am seeing right now.
I spend most of my days talking to people about what they eat, why they eat it, what they wish they were eating, what they think they should be eating, what they ate in the past, how they want to eat in the future, what their food choices have done to their body, what they want from their body, and how all of that relates to their own personal health goals. I educate, coach, and counsel people about how to make good food choices, while ensuring that their social lives, activity level, taste buds, and health can coexist in a world of being happy with how their body looks, feels, and performs.
